The Gogo Business Aviation Senior Manager, Enterprise Systems will lead a team of software developers and business analysts responsible for the development and maintenance of Gogo’s core business systems, including ERP, CRM, and PLM. The position requires initiative, diverse technical comprehension, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
This is an extremely exciting time at Gogo, where our newest products are enabling us to provide real-time world class support and customization unlike anything else in business aviation. This is a key role for our organizational health as we continually push the limits of what is possible in aviation – both on the ground and in the air.
How will you make a difference?
Lead a diverse team of engineers and analysts developing and configuring integrated software solutions supporting key business operations.
Develop and execute on the strategic vision for the long-term health and continued improvement of our back-office infrastructure.
Work closely with senior management across organizations to ensure alignment and build strong partnerships.
Advise development efforts using agile software development best practices and ensuring prioritization supports company objectives.
Guide team members with your knowledge of business operations, connecting their design decisions to the effects on organizational processes.
Collaborate with internal software development teams on integrated solutions such as marketing automation, reporting tools, network operations monitoring, subscription billing platform, and our customer portal.
Liaise with software vendors and VARs for account management, support, and ongoing development efforts.
Actively participate in company-wide quarterly planning activities utilizing a scaled agile framework.
Ensure compliance and participate in audits for SOX controls and AS9100 certification requirements.
Provide coaching and mentorship to staff that includes clear measures of success and purpose-driven professional development.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or other Technical field
Combined 10+ years of professional experience in a leadership role and software development/business analysis
Over five years of team management experience
This role will require being in the Broomfield, Colorado office 3-4 days per week
Required Experience, Skills and Talents
Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced environment
Strong understanding of ERP, CRM, and subscription billing systems, their uses, and best practices for implementation
Demonstrated knowledge of relational database concepts, data migration projects, and system integrations
Ability to communicate complex information to experienced engineers and non-technical business stakeholders
Experience in effectively managing multiple projects across different functional areas
Interpersonal skills and professional demeanor to maintain internal and external business relationships
Desirable Experience, Skills and Talents
Direct experience with Salesforce (force.com) and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
Experience and/or strong interest in the telecommunications or aviation industry
