We are actively sourcing an experienced Project Manager to join our Digital & Technology (D&T) to lead the planning and delivery of a major end-user computing upgrade across our facilities in NSW, VIC, and QLD. This high-profile project will migrate the organisation’s desktop fleet to Windows 11. You will strategically manage stakeholders and, coordinate external vendors and our internal D&T teams to ensure on-time delivery across all phases of the rollout. Your expertise will be essential in driving the project and building strong, collaborative relationships with vendors to ensure successful outcomes.

This is a unique opportunity to lead a critical technology upgrade in response to the upcoming end-of-life for Microsoft Windows 10. You will oversee the transition to Windows 11 across St Vincent’s end-user devices, playing a key role in modernising our digital environment and supporting our commitment to exceptional care.

This position is available now on a Fixed Term Full Time 14-month contract until September 2026 and can be based in either Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of project rollout, ensuring adherence to St Vincent’s standard practices, processes, and templates
  • Manage resources, timelines, and risks effectively to ensure the project stays on track and delivers expected outcomes across all St Vincent’s sites nationally
  • Maintain effective relationships both internally and externally and provide regular updates to Project Executives and business owners on progress
  • Engage, connect, and manage project stakeholders
  • Effectively forecast project costs and subsequently manage project expenditure within delegated authority and budget allocation
  • Monitor procurement and deployment schedules to ensure alignment with site schedules
  • Provide regular reporting and project updates to senior leadership and governance bodies

  • Proven success managing a complex desktop rollout in a similar, large multisite organisation – preferably within the Healthcare sector
  • Exceptional presentation, written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proven vendor management and stakeholder management skills with experience in achieving successful project outcomes
  • Demonstrated track record in applying Project Management principles, methodologies and tools
  • Proven experience in financial management of projects, including budgeting, cost forecasting, and monitoring expenditure
  • Ability to collaborate, guide and support on multiple priorities simultaneously and seamlessly while maintaining attention to detail in a high pressure environment
