Position Summary

We are seeking a Compliance Specialist II Latam (Analista de Compliance Pleno) to support the strengthening of the company’s integrity program, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, internal and external requirements, corporate policies, and market best practices. This professional will play a key role in promoting an ethical culture and monitoring compliance risks.


This role will report directly to Latam Compliance Director and will be based in Brasil.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as Compliance business partner to the region continually providing advice and guidance to business on compliance risks associated with business decisions.
  • Review and approve Healthcare Compliance requests, including interactions with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and Govern Officials (GO´s), donations, sponsorships, trade association memberships, ensuring alignment with regulatory and corporate requirements.
  • Conduct Due Diligence screening on third party engagement, such us distributors, suppliers, Healthcare Professionals (HCPs).
  • Review compliance aspects on supplier registration requests, ensuring proper documentation, risk evaluation, and adherence to internal compliance standards.
  • Support the implementation, enhancement, and ongoing maintenance of the company’s Compliance Program and integrity framework.
  • Develop, deliver, and support training initiatives on ethics, integrity, and compliance, including onboarding sessions for Portuguese-speaking employees.
  • Support compliance risk assessments exercise and monitor progress to leadership.
  • Support Compliance internal communication initiatives, including awareness campaigns, email communications, surveys, and engagement activities.
  • Prepare management reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for leadership and governance committees.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.
  • Previous experience in Compliance, Internal Controls, Audit, or related areas, preferably in the pharmaceutical/medical device industries or other healthcare industry.
  • Knowledge of anti-corruption legislation (e.g., Brazilian Law 12,846/13), Data Protection regulations (LGPD), and other regulatory frameworks applicable to the industry.
  • Experience performing third-party due diligence processes, including risk-based assessments, screening, onboarding controls, and ongoing monitoring.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • High level of integrity and ethical standards.
  • Advanced English proficiency (advanced conversational level required).
