Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) focuses on innovative technologies that help physicians diagnose, monitor, and treat patients with heart rhythm disorders (arrhythmias). Abbott's CRM portfolio includes pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) devices, insertable cardiac monitors, and remote monitoring solutions designed to improve patient outcomes and quality of life.

JOB SUMMARY:

  • Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of KOLs to ensure they become Abbott supporters
  • Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
  • Act as a bridge of communication between customers, distributors and internal Abbott teams
  • Provide technical support if needed

Responsibilities

Goals & Results

  • Acquire a thorough understanding of KOLs’ needs and requirements
  • Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust
  • Provides market, product and clinical insights to both customers and distributors
  • Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner
  • Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key performance metrics
  • Work with therapy development manager to Implement marketing strategies and programs
  • Collect industry, market and competition intelligence and propose action plans
  • Give business and product presentations to Abbott management/distributors and customers
  • Maintain good networking with key stakeholders in Abbott, eg Regional marketing and Education teams, SEA product manager, Regulatory Affairs and Quality team, Compliance team

Teamwork & Self Development

  • Support and promote teamwork
  • High level of knowledge in product and market related areas; keep abreast of current market dynamics and trends in the field

Regulatory

  • Work with product manager and local regulatory to prioritize and track product approval

Measurement

  • Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Plan achievements in revenue and operational margin
  • Effectiveness of product launch – Quality, punctuality and market penetration
  • Market share leadership

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor Degree in Science/Life Science/Engineering
  • A higher degree in Business Administration or other business-related degree is preferred
  • 3–5 years of sales experience within medical device companies; exposure to a relevant product portfolio is preferred.

  • Handle and process customer complaints in timely manner and according to Abbott policy and requirement
  • Execute the job responsibilities according to applicable standard operating procedures of Abbott Medical.
