GENERAL SUMMARY

The Senior Supply Chain Process & Automation Analyst is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and optimizing supply chain processes and existing technology platforms across the enterprise. This role identifies opportunities to enhance operational efficiency through automation, artificial intelligence (AI), and digital enablement. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, supply chain operations knowledge, and experience collaborating with stakeholders across diverse business functions.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Analyzes and map supply chain processes, workflows, and system interactions to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Assesses current supply chain technology platforms and tools to identify gaps, redundant steps, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Evaluates and recommend applications of AI, robotic process automation (RPA), machine learning, and workflow automation to streamline supply chain operations.
  • Develops business cases, functional requirements, and recommend new digital capabilities or system enhancements within the Supply Chain framework.
  • Coordinates with internal client stakeholders to gather requirements, validate needs, and ensure alignment on proposed process and technology improvements.
  • Collaborates with Business Division stakeholders, Technology Services, Functional system owners, and suppliers to support planning and enhancement activities.
  • Produces clear documentation, including process maps, SOPs, and training materials to support implementation and user adoption.
  • Stays current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in supply chain automation and digital transformation.
  • Prepares reports, presentations, and analyses to communicate findings and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Develops, tracks, and reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) using data visualization tools to measure the effectiveness of new automations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Five (5) years of experience in Supply Chain Management or business systems analysis.
  • Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the above.
  • Possession of a valid Class C driver’s license.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Knowledge of the principles, practices and procedures of Supply Chain Management.
  • Experience with automation or AI tools such as RPA, workflow automation platforms, or machine learning solutions.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously; coordinate action plans and schedules, and complete projects on time and within budget.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage stakeholders, facilitate discussions, and translate business needs into actionable requirements.
  • Ability to maintain effective consensus building and harmonious internal and external working relationships at all levels.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to evaluate and implement applications and train systems users.
  • Knowledge of contract management and procurement of goods and services.
  • Advanced-level skill in office applications such as Oracle E-Business Suites, Adobe Acrobat Professional, and Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Projects, Microsoft Visio.
  • Proficiency in process mapping and requirements documentation tools (e.g., Visio).

DESIRABLE

  • Experience with enterprise supply chain systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle,).
  • Exposure to AI-enabled supply chain tools or advanced analytics platforms.
  • Familiarity with change-management practices to support the adoption of new technologies.
