As the Events Specialist EMEA, you are a pivotal force in ensuring the seamless execution of our EMEA events. Your primary focus is operational delivery, team liaison and end to end event coordination and administration.

You will leverage your understanding of event logistics, operations, return on investment (ROI) and customer engagement tactics in this diverse role. This expertise is instrumental in achieving key growth aligned with our business objectives.

This position works closely with the EMEA Marketing Team, Divisional Leaders, Product Managers, Sales Teams, Content Specialists, Designers and Developers to optimise event efforts. 

Responsibilities

  • Effectively lead and manage coordination, organisation, and delivery of a range of events across EMEA such as tradeshows, user group meetings, virtual, and hybrid events.

  • Stakeholder Liaison: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with brand, event objectives.

  • Provide operational and logistical (to include picking, packing and shipping) support for events and marketing activities in EMEA.

  • Promotional Material Management: Oversee the management of promotional materials, ensuring adequate stock, distribution, and tracking.

  • Budget Management: Manage event budgets effectively, working closely with relevant teams to allocate resources efficiently.

  • Post-Event Evaluation: Analyse post-event data and metrics to evaluate event success and generate reports with actionable insights for future improvements.

  • Campaign Integration: Integrate event strategies into marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility and attract potential leads.

  • Travel to the UK office will be required, as well as potential travel to events.

  • Any other duties associated to the successful delivery of this role

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Highly organised self-starter with the energy and ability to meet tight deadlines while working on multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to work with multiple stakeholders, or 3rd parties who are globally dispersed and build good working relationships.

  • Ability to multi-task, managing a high volume of tactics from concept to execution to optimisation whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail.

  • Adaptable to change and able to pivot to accommodate changes in the market and business landscape.

  • Excellent presentation skills, communicating effectively to diverse audiences.

  • Experience in confidently analysing data to provide insights and actions for improvement

A successful candidate will work within a dynamic, fast paced marketing environment executing over 80 events a year. The work performed in this role is a critical factor for the smooth operation of the department and the attainment of its corporate goals.

Required Qualifications/Experience:

  • Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritise, and deliver operational activities to a high standard.

  • Ability to confidently use MS Office applications – especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Experience in a production/operationally/logistics focused role.

  • Experience identifying and resolving challenges in planning and execution.

  • Experience working with both in person, and hybrid and remote teams

  • A keen interest in customer experience and the impact of events, and event related marketing.

  • Experience working within a complex and fast paced environment.

Desired Experience:

  • Experience working with project management system (Monday.com)

  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) preferably Salesforce.

  • Experience working with metrics and data visualization tools.

  • Experience in logistics and shipping.

  • A second language would be highly advantageous.

  • Experience working within a Life Sciences, Biotech or Healthcare company.
