Summary:  

The Data Excellence Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data, focused on Business Process Management and Non-agronomic Project Management, housed within the PBI-Gordon Corporation D365 database.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage the enterprise change management process including but not limited to new item and raw material setup, tolling, and life cycle management, ensuring complete and accurate information is captured on time. 
  • Serve as gatekeeper and coordinate with cross-functional teams on projects and updates that impact items in the system:  
  • Update formulas and routes to accommodate formulation, packaging, and plant updates  
  • Perform audits during formula updates to ensure sufficient inventory levels and understand procurement needs.  
  • Coordinate with production and finance teams to review and update settings such as lead time, coverage groups, and production routes.  
  • Coordinate with Logistics to capture final container and case weights and dimensions.  
  • Calculate final finished goods specifications for D365 and marketing based on bottles and cases used for new finished goods SKUs.  
  • Champion D365: Deep understanding of D365 modules, utilize existing and where needed developed training documents and provide training to PBI-Gordon Corporation employee owners on D365 and MRP principles as needed and seek insights to enhance functionality. 
  • Serve as the primary interface with IT on projects:  
  • Help to ensure requirements are defined and PBI-Gordon needs identified. 
  • Ensure adequate testing is done by the subsidiary for each solution.  
  • Assess the organizational change and business process impact of solutions on the subsidiary.  
  • Ensure the subsidiary is prepared to accept and use the solutions from both a business process and training perspective.  
  • All other duties may be assigned.  

Qualifications & Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration/management, operations management or related field. 
  • 3+ years of experience demonstrating ability to collaborate with functional leaders and team members to discover, document, design and implement business processes.   
  • MRP knowledge and experience in MRP systems required, D365 experience preferred.  
  • Travel up to 10% of time.
