We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Developer, based in Weingarten, to develop, and maintain SAP technical solutions, within our SAP ECC landscape.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the internal technical SAP expert and primary point of contact for SAP system-related topics.
  • Design, develop, and maintain SAP technical solutions, including ABAP developments, enhancements, and interfaces.
  • Analyse technical requirements and translate business needs into robust SAP technical concepts.
  • Perform debugging, performance optimization, and error analysis in complex SAP system landscapes.
  • Support SAP module specialists with technical expertise during implementations and change requests.
  • Manage and coordinate transports, patches, system upgrades, and technical testing activities.
  • Ensure stable SAP system operations in collaboration with internal IT teams and external service providers.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and support knowledge transfer within the organization.

Technical Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of SAP ECC 6.0 architecture and technical landscape.
  • Extensive experience in ABAP development, including debugging, code optimization, and interface creation.
  • Ability to customize and support SAP systems in complex, highly integrated environments.
  • Familiarity with SAP interfaces (IDoc, RFC, Web Services) and SAP authorizations.
  • Basic understanding of SAP security and audit requirements (e.g., ITGC, SOX) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow is advantageous.

Location: Weingarten - The candidate will be primarily based at the office, with the possibility of remote work after the onboarding phase (up to 2 days per week).
