Analista de Aduanas y Cumplimiento Normativo

RESPONSABILIDADES:

• Gestionar las operaciones aduaneras diarias para embarques por vía terrestre y marítima, incluyendo control de inventarios, procesamiento de documentación y coordinación con agentes aduanales y transportistas.
• Asegurar el cumplimiento de las regulaciones de importación en Perú mediante la revisión de documentos, el mantenimiento de registros precisos y la preparación de reportes requeridos por autoridades gubernamentales.
• Colaborar con equipos multifuncionales —como Marketing, Operaciones y Finanzas— para alinear las actividades aduaneras con las necesidades del negocio y apoyar en la toma de decisiones estratégicas.
• Revisar la documentación de importación para garantizar la precisión en valores, impuestos, volúmenes y otros datos críticos; asegurar su entrega oportuna a agentes aduanales y autoridades.
• Mantener y actualizar los Procedimientos Operativos Estándar (SOPs), mapas de procesos y liderar iniciativas de mejora continua para optimizar los procesos aduaneros.
• Apoyar en procesos financieros como pagos de facturas a agentes aduanales, conciliaciones de cuentas y actividades de cierre mensual.
• Participar en auditorías internas y externas mediante la organización, validación y entrega de la documentación requerida.
• Liderar y apoyar proyectos especiales relacionados con análisis de datos, investigaciones regulatorias y coordinación interdepartamental.

CALIFICACIONES MINIMAS:

• Título universitario o equivalente en Comercio Exterior, Negocios Internacionales, Administración de Empresas o Contaduría/Finanzas.
• De 3 a 5 años de experiencia en el área de consultoría de aduanas, análisis de impuestos o trabajando en una Agencia Aduanal.
• Dominio avanzado de Microsoft Excel y/o conocimientos en automatización mediante flujos con herramientas de inteligencia artificial (AI flow coding).
• Bilingüe: dominio fluido del español y del inglés, tanto oral como escrito.

OVERVIEW:

Demonstrates strong compliance expertise with Peruvian import regulations through meticulous documentation review, accurate recordkeeping, and support for government reporting. Collaborates cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, and Finance to align customs activities with broader business objectives. Skilled in auditing processes, maintaining SOPs, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Adept at leading special projects involving data analysis, regulatory research, and interdepartmental collaboration.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage daily customs operations for vessel and truck shipments, including document processing, inventory control, and coordination with brokers and transportation providers.
• Ensure full compliance with Peruvian import regulations by reviewing documentation, maintaining accurate customs records, and supporting government reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Marketing, Operations, and Finance—to align customs activities with business needs and support strategic decision-making.
• Oversee import documentation review for accuracy in values, taxes, and volumes; ensure timely submission to brokers and government agencies.
• Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process maps, and lead continuous improvement efforts to streamline customs processes.
• Assist in internal and external audits by organizing, validating, and providing necessary documentation.
• Lead and support special projects involving data analysis, regulatory research, and interdepartmental coordination.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum undergraduate degree in accounting/International Business/Business Administration/Finance
• 3-5 years of Customs, tax data analysis, or Customs Broker Agency
• Advanced excel and/or AI flow coding
• Bilingual - Fluency (speaking and writing) in both Spanish and English
