Comcast Spectacor oversees the Wells Fargo Center and its major transformation project, the Philadelphia Flyers, the Philadelphia Wings lacrosse team, the Maine Mariners hockey team, the Flyers Training Center, the Seoul Infernos OWL team, and Spectacor Events and Entertainment, a growing live events business that has already brought successful, new events to the Philadelphia area. Comcast Spectacor is headquartered at the Wells Fargo Center (WFC) in Philadelphia, PA. The WFC, the 4th most highly attended arena nationally and 7th most attended in the world is home to 270+ events per year, including the Philadelphia Flyers, Philadelphia 76ers, Philadelphia Wings, Villanova, concerts, and events. Comcast Spectacor is a wholly owned subsidiary of Comcast and maintains connected and disconnected networks within the Wells Fargo Center.

Job Summary

Qualifications: College Juniors, Seniors, or Graduate students. Applicants can receive college credit, though it is not a requirement. Applicant must be willing to get involved in projects with varying degrees of difficulty. Ability to use Microsoft Excel and Word computer program required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills is a must. Experience or interest in sales is preferred.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Work ticketing events at Flyers and Wings games
  • Execute and distribute department promotions, offers and gifts
  • Assist in managing departmental merchandise inventory
  • Support and assist sales staff in daily tasks and assignments
  • Assist other Coordinators with Game Night, Event Night and off-site sales/client events
  • Lead behind-the-scenes group tours of the arena
  • Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned
  • Regular, Consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Compensation

Base Pay: $8.00
