The Samsung Account Manager serves as the primary business interface between Cymer and Samsung. This role is responsible for managing the overall strategic partnership, aligning business objectives, negotiating commercial agreements, and coordinating internal functions to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
As a key customer owner, the Account Manager drives collaboration across Cymer’s internal teams—including technical support, field service, logistics, and quality—to deliver value-added solutions aligned with Samsung’s semiconductor technology roadmap.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with Samsung leadership
- Lead business alignment on technology roadmap, equipment demand, and service plans
- Negotiate commercial terms and manage service agreements
- Act as the escalation point for customer issues and ensure timely resolution
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet customer commitments
- Prepare executive business reviews and partnership progress reports
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, Business, or a related field.
- 10–15 years of professional experience in a customer-facing, technical, or commercial role within the semiconductor industry.
- Proven track record in account management, sales, or business development with global or high-tech customers.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and build relationships at multiple organizational levels.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify root causes, interpret data, and implement effective solutions.
- Leadership and collaboration skills to motivate teams and coordinate across internal functions (sales, technical support, field service, logistics, and finance).
- Strategic thinking and business acumen to align Cymer’s objectives with customer roadmaps and long-term partnerships.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic, customer-driven environment.
- Language: Fluency in English and Korean (verbal and written) is required
- Travel: Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to ~25%).
- Location: Hwaseong office (화성 뉴캠퍼스: 동탄 호수공원 인근)
- Work Environment: Office-based with regular on-site customer visits.
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
