Network COE Senior Manager
Description -
This position is in the Service Supply Chain – Enterprise Operations; reporting to the Strategy & Digital Transformation Senior Director.
The Service Supply Chain is designed for low volume, high mix and extended product/part lifecycles. The SC role in Service Delivery includes providing parts for repair, material circularity, centralized device repair and refurbishment.
The HP Service Supply Chain is in the middle of a multi-year transformation that is building the digital backbone and accelerating the digitalization with the vision of creating an Industry-leading, adaptive and digitally enabled SC.
The Network Center Of Excellence Manager is accountable of the following: to drive the transformation roadmap across the Services Supply Chain, from suppliers and manufacturers down to spare parts stock locations; to lead the strategies about core/none-core capabilities, outsourcing models, partner footprint, overall network design and distribution models; to lead and develop a team of approximately 12 experienced subject matter experts with a “Future Ready” mentality.
Job specifics/responsibilities:
- Transformation Leadership: Lead the transformation of the Supply Network, enabling partner/network simplification and rationalization, implementing strategic initiatives in alignment with overall HP SC manufacturing/sourcing/logistics strategies.
- Enable business growth: Deploy new Logistics capabilities to support Services Business Growth
- Network Design and Optimization: Drive continual network optimization, balancing delivery experience, cost, inventory, resilience, and sustainability. Develop network modeling capabilities for continuous SC adaptation to disruptions and new business contexts.
- Stakeholder management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal departments (IT, customer service, SC transformation, …) and external (Suppliers, Manufacturers, and strategic partners), to ensure cross-functional collaboration).
- Financial Management: Drive transformation cost savings goals attainment. Create aggressive but realistic business cases for the transformation initiatives aligned with financial guidelines considering all aspects: P&L, balance sheet, cash flow
- Technology: Connect to the latest technology trends, define roadmaps, articulate plans well integrated into the HP SC architectures.
- People Management: Empower a Future Ready Workforce. Recruit, develop, and retain top talent for the Network COE. Manage ARC process fostering team engagement and development. Ensure the COE team possesses a broad range of supply chain skill sets and expertise.
Education and professional experience required:
- Bachelor and Master’s degree.
- 10+ years of experience in a supply chain function (or related fields).
- 5+ years of direct people management experience, including diverse team profile managed.
- Experience with network management for international Service Supply Chains for consumer electronics and enterprise hardware products
- Possesses a strong understanding and demonstrated track-record of network competencies:
- Supply Chain network design and optimization
- Transportation, warehousing, and distribution strategies
- Partner strategy design - inclusive of defining the types of partners required, selection, negotiation, onboarding, and ongoing management
- Continuous improvement methodologies and initiative development
- Experience with matrix organizations and leveraging transformation and operational skills to drive network strategies
- Experience training, leading, and developing teams to execute network initiatives
