Purpose of the role

The Warehouse Facility Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and seamless operation of the warehouse facility, including its infrastructure, utilities, and related services. This role drives the optimization of facility performance, oversees maintenance programs, and manages vendor relationships to support uninterrupted business operations. By collaborating closely with the HSSE team and warehouse manager, the supervisor ensures compliance with safety, security, and company policies, while proactively mitigating risks and maintaining a clean, functional, and well-organized facility. Additionally, the role supports administrative tasks and contributes to fostering a culture of safety and operational excellence within the warehouse team.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the overall operation, maintenance, and optimization of site facilities, including buildings, accommodation, office areas, utilities, equipment, and common services.

  • Ensure the facility is safe, functional, clean, and efficient to support smooth business operations.

  • Plan and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs for infrastructure, machinery, and utilities to minimize downtime and extend asset life.

  • Manage service providers and contractors related to facility services (e.g., cleaning, repairs, landscaping, waste disposal, pest control).

  • Oversee facility-related contracts, budgeting, procurement, and vendor performance for services such as property management, space planning, and resource usage

Ad hoc-tasks: Support HSSE and warehouse admin tasks.

  • Work closely with the HSSE team and warehouse manager to drive the warehouse team in the implementation of HSSE, ensuring no deviation between actual practices and instructions/guidelines or company policies.

  • Assist warehouse manager with monthly PbM campaign and Gemba walk 

  • Perform risk assessments for all warehouse activities and conduct annual reviews and/or when there is change management

  • Report and take the lead in investigating if a safety/security incident occurs.

  • Responsible for general administrative tasks, recording warehouse assets and stationery.

  • Take care of daily staff attendance and overtime reports

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Facility Management Skills

  • Management and Administration Skills

  • Proficiency in Computer and Office Software

  • IT knowledge would be a plus

  • Safety & Security Mindset
