We are looking for a Senior Professional Services Consultant with Data Protection specialization to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for fostering customer long term mutually beneficial partnerships while spearheading and delivering comprehensive Data Protection solutions for our customers from a suite of constantly evolving and growing suite of Data Protection products. The data protection Suite of products includes – DLP, CASB, Shadow IT and integration with SaaS partners, End point and Email DLP, Reporting, Incident Management and Workflow Automation. You will be delivering industry leading solutions and will have the ability to shape the direction of the product suite evolution. This is a specialized role that will require industry knowledge and the ability to work with large and strategic customers. Part trusted advisor, part evangelist, part expert, part explorer and part pragmatist – we are looking for you. You will be reporting to Director, Professional Services- Data Protection. You will be responsible for:

  • Foster long time mutually beneficial partnerships with customers to enable a trusted advisor relationship
  • Architect and deliver highly customized data protection solutions that satisfy the needs of the customer
  • Ability to enable the customer to envision a future proof solution that might require a process and mindset transformation
  • Own the relationship of the customer long term
  • Ability to present to the customer at various levels of the organization the problem, the solution, and the rationale for the solution
  • Will present as the technical expert in Data Protection technologies (DLP, CASB and related technologies)
  • Ability to able to take customer requirements and transform those into solutions using the Data Protection Suite of products
  • Ability to execute and deliver on the solution
  • Ability to articulate the advantages of being based on a cloud native architecture
  • Ability to clearly articulate at various levels within the customer organization the current progress and status of the project with clearly identified next steps/dependences/milestones and potential roadblocks/issues
  • Ability to champion the customer requirements and work with cross functional teams withing the organization to present and advocate the case for the customer
  • Ability to multitask and context switch – role needs working with multiple customers – both internal and external
  • Interact directly with customer teams at various levels in both technical and non-technical roles
  • Interact with product management and product engineering to clearly identify product enhancements and modifications that might be required and clearly articulate the gaps that they are addressing
  • Be able to produce and maintain documentation like White Papers/Solution Briefs, Reference architectures
  • Be able to produce documentation that clearly represents current solution and the configuration elements that were created/modified to arrive at a solution
  • Ability to convert a successful solution into a best practices document that can be consumed by other teams within Zscaler
  • Ability to leverage product capabilities to deliver solutions for more complex situations by leveraging API and coding/scripting
  • Create custom pattern matching for DLP matches using regular expression constructs that are unique to Zscaler
  • Be the person that will be relied on by the rest of the organization to come up with innovative solutions for Data protection requirements
  • Be able to mock up and produce working Demos for various products of the Data Protection suite of products
  • Take pride of ownership in breaking new ground every dayMinimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering/Computer science and or equivalent and 5+ years of experience as a Professional Services Consultant, Service Integrator or DevOps solutions engineer in a senior role
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud and enterprise networking security architecture – both from a technology and a business driver standpoint and experience that emphasizes L2-L4 Networking, Network Security, Virtualization and Cloud Computing
  • Experience with data loss prevention, securing SaaS and Cloud Access Security Brokers (CASB), End point DLP, Inline/Network DLP, Email DLP etc. Experience with scripting/coding to handle intermediate to complex problems.
  • Good understanding of Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems and working knowledge of REST API and experience demonstrating, installing and troubleshooting security productsPreferred Qualifications:
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, both internally and externally
  • "Whatever it takes" attitude and motivation to do whatever necessary to arrive at a working solution. Leadership, drive, passion and charisma – ability to persuade, sell ideas and lead without authority.
  • Experience from companies in the enterprise networking security space and experience understanding exploits, malware, ransomware, etc.: their creation and activation
