Summary: As a Software Development Lead, you will be responsible for developing and configuring software systems for various stages of the product lifecycle. You will apply your knowledge of technologies, applications, methodologies, processes, and tools to support clients, projects, or entities. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing requirements, designing software solutions, and ensuring the successful implementation of software systems. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - The role of Discrete Event Simulation / Plant Simulation Specialist requires to develop simulation models on Plant/production, logistic or warehouse systems processes. - The Specialist needs to perform What-If scenario and do analysis to reduce waste, increase efficiency, and provide solutions to improve current plant performance and also validate future states/ scenarios - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and design software solutions. - Develop and configure software systems for various stages of the product lifecycle. - Ensure the successful implementation of software systems. - Provide technical guidance and support to team members. - Stay updated with the latest technologies, applications, methodologies, processes, and tools. - Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during the software development process. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Simulation Modeling. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Siemens Tecnomatix Plant Simulation and Unreal Engine. - Strong understanding of software development methodologies and processes. - Experience in designing and developing software systems. - Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python. - Familiarity with software testing and debugging techniques. - Ability to analyze and interpret complex technical requirements. - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Simulation Modeling. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A BTech/BE in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering is required.
