Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager who combines deep technical expertise with marketing savvy to drive product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies. In this role, you will bridge the gap between product management, engineering, and marketing to effectively communicate the value of our solutions to technical and non-technical audiences alike.

You will own the creation of compelling product content, collaborate on market launches, and equip sales teams with the resources needed to win in competitive markets. This is a cross-functional role that requires creativity, technical knowledge, and a customer-first mindset.

Responsibilities

Product Positioning and Messaging

  • Develop clear, compelling messaging and positioning for products, highlighting technical capabilities and customer benefits.
  • Tailor content to different audiences, including developers, engineers, and business decision-makers.

Go-to-Market Strategy

  • Collaborate with product management to plan and execute successful product launches.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to differentiate our products in the market.

Sales Enablement

  • Create technical sales tools, including datasheets, presentations, battle cards, and FAQs.
  • Train sales teams on product features, use cases, and value propositions.

Content Development

  • Produce technical marketing materials, such as whitepapers, case studies, blog posts, and videos.
  • Partner with engineering to develop technical demos and proof-of-concept materials.

Customer Engagement

  • Serve as a product expert to engage with customers, collect feedback, and refine messaging.
  • Represent the company at industry events, webinars, and customer briefings.

Market Insights

  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Leverage insights to influence product development and marketing strategies.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience

  • 5+ years in product marketing, technical marketing, or a related role in the tech industry. Prior experience marketing to software developers is a plus. 
  • Proven ability to understand and translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling messages.

Skills

  • Strong analytical skills and an evidence-based approach to decision-making.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in creating marketing collateral and technical content.
  • Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or other CRM/marketing platforms.
  • Experience with software development, cloud computing, or related technical domains is highly desirable.
