Position Overview:

As part of the talented team, you will become a key contributor to the success of Lund and Crestliner iconic brands and be able to manage inventory and purchase orders while displaying strong technical business knowledge.

  • Govern material requirements and deliveries for assigned parts, commodities, and suppliers
  • Communicate with manufacturing, engineering, and purchasing suppliers to determine constraints
  • Partner with suppliers and accounts payable to resolve invoice issues
  • Optimize inventory levels by using JIT/lean principles
  • Lead and support Lean Six Sigma initiatives that drive improvements
  • Manage inventory and purchase orders for costs and projects
  • Analyze requirements for the validity areas with demands
  • Improve supplier quality levels, delivery, and warranty issues

Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of purchasing & materials control in a manufacturing environment
  • Technical savvy with Excel data skills with technical business knowledge
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in negotiations and problem solving with suppliers
  • Purchasing certifications and/or MRP, MRO and Kanban experience preferred
  • Excellent time management, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Strong decision making, organizational and creative problem-solving skills with the ability to overcome unforeseen obstacles

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree preferred
