Job Description Summary
As a lead consultant with Corporate Planning and Strategic Services (CPSS), you will draw upon your knowledge and collaborate with business leaders to lead dynamic projects and teams. You will partner with multiple business areas across the organization to drive success by helping them anticipate needs, create strategies, overcome challenges, and advance and deliver sustainable opportunities.

Location: This position is onsite at 105 New Way Road, Columbia, SC 29223.

What You Will Do:

  • Partner with business units to lead collaborative efforts in two or more of our key disciplines:

    • Business Planning

    • Business Improvement and Innovation

    • Business Change Implementation

    • Business Learning and Development

  • Lead multiple projects and project teams. Determine, set, and execute the best direction in addressing business issues or opportunities.

  • Consult with all levels of management (including senior-level executives) in the design, development, evaluation, communication, and implementation of business solutions.

  • Conduct in-depth quantitative and qualitative analyses to provide leadership with critical insights and recommendations for key decisions.

To qualify for this position, you will need: 

Four (4) years of related work experience in organizational development, business analysis, process improvement (e.g. Six Sigma, reengineering), corporate/strategic planning, financial analysis, business systems analysis, business development, market/industry research or management of a business operation, any business setting, including I/T

Plus, the required education,  Office, and PAHM within a year, as stated in the job description

We prefer you have the following experience:

Demonstrated experience applying and driving results across a variety of complex, demanding, important efforts of two or more of the following business disciplines:

  • Business Planning: Experience helping business units envision key goals and methods to attain those goals.  

  • Business Improvement and Innovation: Experience with structured improvement and innovation methodologies to understand the current state, identify best opportunities, and execute action plans to enable success.  achieve improvements

  • Business Change Implementation:  Experience utilizing structured project and change management frameworks to drive strategic and tactical change. 

  • Business Learning and Development: Experience in developing tailored approaches to expand the mindset & capabilities of individuals/teams. 

  • Master's Degree in a related field (MHA, MBA, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Organizational Design, etc.)
