Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves executing the configuration management plan under the guidance of the Configuration Lead. The role includes supporting the design and customization of software solutions to align with business process requirements and application needs. This position requires close collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure that software configurations are effectively implemented and maintained, contributing to the overall success of the project and organizational goals.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software configurations.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical capabilities and understanding.
- Monitor project progress and provide timely updates to leadership to facilitate informed decision-making.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Hexagon Intergraph SmartPlant.
- Strong knowledge of software configuration management principles and best practices.
- Experience in customizing software solutions to meet specific business process requirements.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex software issues within configuration environments.
- Familiarity with version control systems and change management processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering effective and scalable solutions.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Hexagon Intergraph SmartPlant.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
