ABOUT YOU:

In this position you will:

  • Scrub, Scout for angiography, electrophysiology procedures

  • Be on-call once competencies completed

  • Assist in Maintaining nursing standards of practice

  • Assist with the efficient & safe running of the angiography suite

  • Monitor and ensure the availability of supplies and equipment.

The candidate must have:

  • Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Registered Nurse

  • Ability to display sound theoretical knowledge with excellent technical, practical and communication skills

  • Demonstrated experience in Angiography and/or Theatre Scrub as Registered Nurse

  • Minimum 2 years post graduate experience in Cath lab

  • Ability to work within busy environment

  • Knowledge of and participation in Quality Improvement process

  • Knowledge of legislation relevant to nursing practice

  • Willingness to promote Mater Core Values

  • Be a highly motivated and organised individual

  • A postgraduate qualification/s would be advantageous

  • Current ALS
