Join our team at our SSC in Skawina. We are looking for a Database Administrator to take a pivotal role in managing ORACLE and/or MS-SQL Databases operations in Valeo sites in Central Europe.

Your mission:

• Database administration:

  • Oversee databases across sites in a scope of Central Europe

  • Analyze databases for performance bottlenecks, manage databases update process, incidents

  • Act as a 2nd line of support for 1st line of databases support (external and internal)

  • Administration of the databases, supervising the operations and cooperation with DRP teams

• Project and Quality Management:

  • Lead IT infrastructure projects (for the database scope) from conception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.

  • Coordinate with stakeholders to define project requirements, objectives, and deliverables.

  • Develop project plans, allocate resources, plan action plans if needed

  • To perform root cause analysis for database incidents

• Implementation of Standards:

  • To ensure that the deployment process for new databases is in line with corporate standards

  • Define and manage corrective action plans for databases out of standard, back-up policies

  • Manage database versions upgrades, patching

  • Compliance with Cybersecurity rules and NDA.

​The ideal candidate will have:

• 3+ years of relevant professional experience

• Solid experience with ORACLE and/or MS-SQL databases

• Knowledge of both Polish and English language

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment

• Willingness to travel
