Material I role is responsible for processing all inventory receipts and supports functions required for daily operation of the inventory department which includes (but not limited to) inventory receiving, order verifications, recalls, product transfers, scrap transactions, cycle counting, short totes, on hold orders and internal return to stock. Acts as a liaison across multiple business units for inventory best practices and problem solving.\

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
Assists in managing and maintaining inventory levels of medical and non-medical supplies, equipment, and materials.
Ensures timely and accurate distribution of supplies to different departments or units within the healthcare facility.
Manages inventory levels and tracks usage patterns to determine when reordering is necessary, coordinating with procurement or purchasing teams to initiate purchase requisitions or place orders for supplies and materials.
Inspects incoming supplies and materials for quality, accuracy, and adherence to pharmacy specifications.
Manages and maintains equipment used within the healthcare facility by performing routine inspections, troubleshooting basic issues, and coordinating repairs or maintenance with appropriate teams or vendors.
Maintains accurate records of inventory transactions, supply distribution, and equipment maintenance.
Communicates effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to address supply needs, resolve issues, and provide timely updates to material problems.
Maintains a safe work environment by ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements as well as internal safety, quality, and confidentiality standards.
Works to develop an in-depth knowledge of pharmacy regulations, specialty medications, and best practices by seeking ongoing training and professional development activities.

Required Qualifications

0-2 years of relative work experience
Basic awareness of problem solving and decision making skills

Preferred Qualifications
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)

Education
High school diploma or equivalent

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$17.00 - $28.46

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
