About this role:

The Sales Operations Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the Sales Operations team’s daily activities, ensuring the efficient execution of sales processes. This role is responsible for managing administrative tasks, maintaining accurate sales data and facilitating communications between teams to optimise functional operations.

This role is slated as a temporary 6-month contract.

Accountabilities:

• Prepare, distribute, and manage sales documents such as contracts, quotes, proposals and purchase orders, ensuring accuracy, timely delivery and compliance with company guidelines.
• Maintain and regularly update sales records and documentation in CRM and other databases, ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
• Serve as a point of contact between the Sales Operations team and other teams to coordinate and streamline the flow of routine information.
• Monitor the progress of sales orders, liaising with relevant teams and supervisors to resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the sales cycle.
• Ensure all sales-related documents and communications are properly archived and accessible, complying with legal and internal policy requirements.

Skills & Experience:

• Completion of some formal training or equivalent experience within sales.
• Working knowledge of common processes and practices within Sales Operations.
• Good knowledge of processes and procedures within a team(s).
• Intermediate understanding/awareness of related activities and operations of the team(s).
• Communication used to exchange technical or factual information with colleagues.
• Performs essential support / administrative / operational tasks to support the team in day-to-day operations.
• Work is generally under supervision, but an experienced incumbent may be able to operate independently and only seek guidance on complex issues.
• Able to convey and exchange information to serve customers.

When determining final compensation, we take into consideration: skillset, job scope, knowledge, prior experience, cost of living, market data, budget availability, and other factors as permitted by law.

The hourly wage for this position is $24/hr.
