About the Role

The Segment Manager for Premier Accounts is a newly created role designed to support the 2026 Government Markets Sales Team. The Premiere territories, a blend of State and Federal accounts, represent a significant share of renewal revenue, competitive risk, and AI-driven upsell potential. This role provides structured strategic support, pricing analysis, and cross-functional coordination to ensure we maximize revenue and apply consistent pricing rigor across this large, diverse segment.

This is an internal-facing role that partners closely with Sales, Pricing Analysts, and the Contracts Specialist to ensure pricing alignment, efficient workflow execution, and consistent application of segmentation strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Developing standardized pricing strategies for Premier Accounts, ensuring alignment with CPU floors, value-based pricing, competitive positioning, and cross-segment consistency.

  • Reviewing Analyst-built pricing models and identify opportunities for revenue lift, margin protection, and improved deal structure.

  • Generating internal pricing guidance, justification summaries, and scenario analyses—without customer engagement.

  • Analyzing Premier segment trends to identify renewal risk, adoption patterns, and upsell pathways (especially for Protégé, Create+, and Courts packages).

  • Supporting annual revenue planning for Premier Accounts through churn modeling, pricing uplift analysis, and AI adoption forecasting.

  • Partnering with the Director to define segment-specific pricing guardrails and monetization strategies.

  • Acting as the central internal coordinator between Sales, Analysts, and the Contracts Specialist for the premiere territory.

  • Monitoring pricing workflow quality and turnaround times to ensure compliance and consistency across all Premier Account deal support.

  • Consulting on the development of dashboards and trackers to support forecasting, deal governance, and Audit/Compliance readiness.

  • Translating competitive trends—especially Westlaw performance in courts, CPU trends, and discount behaviors—into recommendations that improve Premier pricing outcomes.

  • Developing reusable pricing frameworks, “deal archetypes,” and competitive benchmarks with Analysts.

Requirements

  • Have 3–5+ years in pricing, revenue operations, business strategy, or GovCon/Government Markets analytics.

  • Have great Excel proficiency (scenario modeling, price sensitivity analysis, large dataset manipulation).

  • Have the ability to synthesize data into structured recommendations for internal stakeholders.

  • Have an understanding of subscription, SaaS, or user-based pricing mechanics.

  • Have great internal communication and documentation skills.

  • Have experience in Government Markets, especially court systems, legal research, or AI-driven SaaS pricing.

  • Have familiarity with GSA MAS pricing constructs, CLIN structures, and state procurement behavior.

  • Have exposure to competitive intelligence in CALR or information services.
