Mebane Surgery Center & Alamance Regional Medical Center

CRNAs perform surgeries at the Mebane Surgery Center and Alamance Regional Medical Center.

Mebane Surgery Center offers state-of-the-art ambulatory surgical services. The center features operating rooms equipped with a surgical navigation system, advanced lighting and the latest technology for minimally invasive procedures. It also offers separate pediatric waiting and recovery areas designed especially for children.

Alamance Regional Medical Center is a not-for-profit medical and surgical hospital with 238 beds. This modern community healthcare organization is dedicated to offering high-quality clinical, preventive-wellness, support, and educational services in a safe, friendly atmosphere. It is home to the Cone Health Cancer Center and Cone Health Women’s & Children’s Center. Specialties include heart and vascular, advanced imaging, and surgical services. The center’s state-of-the-art equipment includes a robotic surgical system.

Dana Traylor, MSN, APN, CRNA serves as the Director of Advanced Practice Anesthesia covering the Mid-South Region (NC, SC, & GA).

She joined NAPA from American Anesthesiology, where she was Chief CRNA in the Knoxville practice for 15 years, promoting CRNA recruiting and clinical practice, as well as serving as a liaison with anesthesiologists and hospital partners.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Pre-anesthesia assessment 
  • Obtains and/or verifies patient consent
  • Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
  • Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
  • Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition
  • Performance of clinical intervention as needed

Requirements

  • Current license as a registered professional nurse
  • Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
  • Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists

  • Compensation: $197,750-$245,250
