JM Lexus is looking for a Body Shop Technician who thrives on restoring vehicles to their former glory. You'll be hands-on with everything from replacing damaged parts to realigning frames, all while adhering to established quality and time benchmarks. Your role is crucial in ensuring each vehicle passes rigorous quality checks and meets the high standards expected before transitioning to our painting team. If you have a keen eye for detail and take pride in precise work, you'll fit right in with our dedicated crew.
Responsibilities:
Performs automotive repairs related to removal/replacement/repair and preparation of damaged components and aligns vehicle frames/unibody components to manufacture specifications Working within manufacturer and industry established quality and time standards.
Complies with manufacturer and dealer safety and environmental programs and practices.
Understands, keeps abreast of and complies with federal, state and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc.
preparation standards for painting department, and per agreed upon estimate.
Use diagnostic procedure to identify the symptoms of problem, the conditions under which they occur.
Maintains tools and equipment in a proper state of repair.
Must be able to achieve high quality standards.
Work in a fast paced environment.
Qualifications:
2+ years with auto body repair
3+ years of auto body repair experience
I-Car and ASE certifications are preferred
