The Payroll Supervisor will be responsible for the supervision and coordination of payroll processing.
Responsibilities include:
Processing payroll
Providing guidance, leadership, and training to team on policies, regulations, and procedures
Administer new acquisition payroll set up, in addition to setting up time off policies to ensure time off is accruing correctly
Implement, maintain, and review payroll to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll submission
Process employee changes, including W-4, direct deposit, garnishments, worker’s comp audits, and all payroll related items
Process biweekly and off-cycle payroll requests as necessary including terminations based on state law requirements
Monitor and audit State and Federal minimum wage requirements
Assist team members with resolving complex error resolution
Partner with HR to ensure deductions for benefits are being accurately recorded and processed
Payroll Supervisor will possess the following skills:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role in payroll
Minimum of 3 years of Workday payroll processing
Minimum of 3 years of experience with state and federal payroll compliance
Minimum of 3 years of experience with ADP smart compliance
Payroll processing experience of 3000 + employees
Detail oriented with a high aptitude for numerical accuracy
Excel experience with VLOOKUP's and pivot tables.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Customer focused mind set
Strong organizational and time management skills
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Exceptional supervisory and leadership skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Preferred qualifications include:
CPP certified
Bachelor's degree in business or related field
Canada payroll experience
