What you need to know about the role-Job Description:
You will work closely with the leads from mobile domains to gather requirements and design & develop tools and automation to improve the productivity of mobile engineers.
Your day to day-
You will:
Develop & enhance high quality automation for iOS SDLC to improve developer productivity with “shift-left” mentality to improve quality and predictability of App releases.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior mobile DevOps engineers and contribute to best practices in mobile software development.
Work closely with iOS platform engineers, leads from mobile development teams, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications and solutions.
Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality, performance, and security. Implement and maintain CI pipeline framework and self-service capabilities.
Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in iOS development toolchain, automation testing frameworks and mobile CI/CD infrastructure. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs to ensure optimal application performance.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for tools, automation, and mobile SDLC processes.
Identify and advocate for new technologies and methodologies to improve development processes and product offerings.
5+ years of professional experience in iOS development, with a strong portfolio of released applications on the App Store.
Proficiency in Java, Python, Swift and Ruby.
Strong understanding of iOS app development toolchain Xcode build, Fastlane, cocoa pods, Swift Package Manager and XCUI Test frameworks.
Experience with setting up certs & profiles and iOS app distribution.
Solid understanding of code versioning tools such as Git and code collaboration tools such as GitHub.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
