Summary: As a Web Developer, you will design, build, and test web-based applications for various site components and edit site content. You will also document technical designs and specifications, research and incorporate updated content for websites. A typical day in this role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, implementing new features, and ensuring the functionality and usability of web applications. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand project objectives. - Design and develop web-based applications using JavaScript and other relevant technologies. - Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code. - Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure the functionality and quality of web applications. - Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement user-friendly interfaces. - Stay updated with the latest web development trends and technologies. - Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. - Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with GitHub, Web Application Development. - Daily work include building list views, participating in data architecture conversations for content going into a SharePoint list, tracking feature requests and fixing bugs in javascripts (stored in GIT) for applications built on SharePoint - working to clean up technical debt in SharePoint lists (columns, connections, general data clean up). - Proven experience as a SharePoint Developer with strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and TypeScript - Solid understanding of SharePoint architecture - Experience with developments based on JSOM (Javascript Object Model) and CEWP (Content Editor WebPart) - Experience developing SPFx web parts and extensions for SharePoint Online. - Familiarity with Git - Strong understanding of web development principles and best practices. - Experience with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular. - Familiarity with version control systems like Git. - Understanding of cross-browser compatibility and accessibility standards. - Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming. - Ability to optimize web applications for performance and scalability. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in JavaScript. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
