What you will do:

  • Participate in compensation plan administration, including maintenance of all employee and plan data within our commissions management platform
  • Validate data used in earnings calculations, working closely with various cross -functional teams to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all commission payments and associated reporting is in alignment with company policies and relevant incentive structures
  • Review, analyze and prepare worldwide journal entries for month-end and quarter-end close related to global sales compensation and other corporate accounting processes as assigned
  • Prepare detailed account reconciliations, obtain corresponding support to verify accuracy of the actual financial results, and resolve any reconciling items timely
  • Perform monthly, quarterly and annual variance analysis to ensure resulting financial statement results accurately reflect business activity and are in accordance with US GAAP
  • Assist in preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting packages for leadership and executive management
  • Perform and deliver special, ad-hoc Accounting and reporting

What you will need:

  • BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance or Business or equivalent practical experience
  • Progressive experience at a Big 4 public accounting firm or a combination of Big 4 and industry experience, preferably with exposure to a high-growth SaaS company
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities, and adhere to strict deadlines
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles as well as SOX and internal controls
  • Proficient in commissions management software (e.g., Xactly, Varicent), Excel, and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite)
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members, business partners, and stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, organized, and self-motivated.
  • Possess a team player and team focused attitude.
