Role Overview

As a Commercial Solutions Manager at Caterpillar, you will develop and sell Job Site Solutions contracts to optimize customers’ equipment fleets, productivity, safety, and sustainability across Mining, Quarry, Construction, Industrial, and Waste industries. You will influence multiple stakeholders and drive Caterpillar’s services strategy by growing Total Contract Value (TCV) and expanding site coverage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute commercial strategies with Cat Dealers and internal teams
  • Build and maintain strong dealer and customer relationships
  • Identify and convert new prospects into profitable opportunities
  • Conduct site and business assessments to design tailored solutions
  • Collaborate on equipment specification and pricing for fleets
  • Negotiate and close Job Site Solutions contracts
  • Grow and manage a profitable customer portfolio while nurturing existing relationships

Key Accountabilities

  • Drive incremental Machine, Parts, and Services Sales for Caterpillar and its Dealer Network
  • Ensure alignment with corporate platforms and dealer engagement strategies
  • Deliver solutions that meet customer needs and support Caterpillar’s growth objectives

Qualifications

  • Degree in Engineering or Business (or equivalent) OR relevant experience
  • Extensive direct field experience with dealers and/or customers
  • Industry knowledge in Mining, Quarry, Construction, Industrial, and Waste sectors
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Customer relationship management expertise
  • Ability to work autonomously and in complex teams

Nice to have

  • OEM or Dealer experience
  • Demonstrated team leadership skills
