Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks a professional, proactive, and detailed individual for our Project Manager Intern position. The ideal candidate for this position will be able to work full-time during the summer and/or part-time during the school year. If you are a current student at an accredited university in the Pullman, WA area looking for an opportunity to develop your project management knowledge, learn from industry leaders, and enhance your academic learning, then this may be the position for you!

As an Project Manager Intern, a typical day might include the following:  

• Provide administrative support to the department and project teams, including scheduling and coordinating meetings, generating meeting minutes, prepare presentations, creating and maintaining action item lists.

• Provide support to project teams including maintaining project files, creating and maintaining reports.

• Manage simultaneous, small projects as assigned.

• Provide support for large projects

• Follow and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.

• Understand. Create. Simplify.

• Other duties as assigned.

• Proven Expertise in Microsoft Office programs

• Ability to learn and communicate technical information.

• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills

• Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities

• Ability to work independently and take initiative

• Background check results satisfactory to SEL

• Negative drug test result(s)

Pay Range Data

($20.00 - $28.75 per hour) * Our intern pay is determined based on the internship role (the work you would be doing) and your year in school (when you plan to graduate). Talk to your recruiter if you are curious about the rate for your year in school.
