We are looking for a Finance Analyst (f/m/d) to join our team and support accounting and regulatory reporting across Germany, EU markets, and the UK. In this role, you’ll work with advanced data systems and tools to create accurate and compliant financial reports. 

In this role, you will create reporting solutions to support the entire Finance team. You will play a key role in automating reconciliation processes, minimizing manual tasks, enhancing operational efficiency, and streamlining financial operations. Your responsibilities:

  • Accounting and Reporting: collaborating on accounting and regulatory reporting across Germany, EU markets, and the UK, leveraging SQL to create queries and reports that enhance accuracy and compliance.

  • Data Analysis and Insights: Extracting, analysing, and validating data from the data warehouse to build accurate datasets and develop advanced financial reporting solutions.

  • Process Automation: Automating the reconciliation processes, reducing manual workloads, and ensuring adherence to accounting logic for improved reporting efficiency.

  • System Development: maintaining advanced accounting systems to streamline financial operations, improving data accuracy, and supporting evolving business needs.

  • Financial Oversight: Collaboration with teams to prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records.

About you

We think you’ll need the following experience and qualifications to succeed in the role:

  • Fluency in English (C1) 

  • Strong data analytics skills (SQL) / Metabase

  • Initial experience within the finance field/ accounting/ financial processes
