Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Interactivity Operations Editors to join our team. This role is crucial in supporting interactivity initiatives and maintaining operational systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for the television and entertainment industry.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide operations support for interactivity initiatives
  • Create deeplinks and manage artwork
  • Collaborate daily with internal and external teams to clarify scope, requirements, and timelines for interactivity campaigns
  • Provide back-office support for onscreen programming guides, including daily processing of guide files
  • Process cases for cloud annotations and node deletes
  • Manage updates to pay-per-view programming
  • Support station rebrands and manage Source IDs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data providers, product managers, global operations teams, cable networks, and content coordinators
  • Track metrics, initiatives, and challenges, providing monthly reports to leadership
  • Evaluate existing operational processes and implement strategies to streamline workflows, leveraging new tools and automation to reduce manual work and increase efficiency

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting
  • Strong database management skills
  • Excellent cross-team collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Preferred Technical Skills:

  • Experience installing, configuring, updating/maintaining Linux servers and systems
  • Comfortable with the CLI (command line interface) and remote login and file transfers using SSH
  • Familiar with SQL
  • Familiar with Windows Server
  • Familiar with network protocols and security

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in process improvement and workflow optimization
  • Familiarity with automation tools and techniques to enhance operational efficiency
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices for streamlining operations
  • Knowledge of the television and entertainment industry
  • Experience with interactivity platforms or programming guides
