Job Description Summary

The mission of the Product Management organization is to develop & lead a multi-generational, differentiated and competitive global product strategy to deliver value to customers and drive growth for the business.

The GT13E1/E2 Product Manager is responsible for leading diverse cross-functional teams deployed to support fleet objectives. This is a critical role where you will have significant opportunity to demonstrate creative problem-solving, technical, commercial, communication and process skills in a complex, global and fast-paced environment.
The GT13E1/E2 Product Manager is expected to take full advantage of the entire GE Vernova technology portfolio in the development of GT13E1/E2 strategies. They will drive cross-functional resources/teams to deliver results; lead long-term strategic planning for the GT13E1/E2 platforms and fleets, manage complex issues including delivering programs to meet individual customer needs & product cost targets and balancing investment trade-offs whilst maintaining a clear competitive advantage and marketplace leadership.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ownership of the integrated GT131/E2 frame strategy, development of multi-generation product plans (MGPP) and accountability to drive actions to ensure GE Vernova sustained profitability
  • Lead the NPI strategy for the frame and collaborate with Engineering, Sales, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Projects and Marketing to ensure the successful execution of NPI programs
  • Support the global and regional sales teams by leading product discussions with customers
  • Manage fleet configurations & backward compatibility across variants and develop a holistic migration strategy
  • Ensure compliance with formal GE Vernova processes including NPI, ATQ, LCB & RCA
  • Ensure safety, quality, delivery and cost are the principles driving platforms strategy and the foundation for how we support our customers
  • Promote a proactive risk management culture working closely and regularly with technical and business risk owners
  • Support the development of marketing concepts, strategies, budgets and literature required to promote, sell, and support the product portfolio
  • Act as point of contact for the for webinars and users conference planning / execution

Required Qualifications

  • University Degree in Engineering, Business, or Marketing, or equivalent experience
  • Strong Product Management, Engineering or Commercial experience within Power Generation
  • Willingness and ability to travel, including regular visits to the key GT13E1/E2 regions (Asia, EMEA, LATAM)
  • Intense customer and quality focus

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $ 156.350 and $ 223.400. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus
