Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Project Manager with 5 years of experience in the Media/Telecommunication industry to oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of various technical/customer facing projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the industry, strong leadership skills, and a track record of driving technical/customer facing projects to completion within scope, timeline, and budget.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project management activities, including project planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management. 
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including technical, operational, marketing, billing among other departments, to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes. 
  • Develop detailed project plans, outlining project goals, tasks, milestones, and resource requirements. 
  • Continuous process improvement according to PMP® principles leading to efficiencies. 
  • Ability to interpret product and service requirements for best customer experiences. 
  • Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and implement corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track. 
  • Identify potential risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions to project timelines. 
  • Leads and articulate executive level discussions on assigned projects on a monthly basis. 
  • Regularly communicate project status, updates, and potential roadblocks to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle. 
  • Foster a collaborative work environment, motivating and guiding project teams to achieve project objectives efficiently and effectively. 
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior project management staff, sharing industry insights and best practices. 
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary. 
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. 
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the Telecommunication or related industry. 
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex projects on time and within budget. 
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and positive working relationships. 
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make informed decisions under pressure. 
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software. 
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
