About the role:

As a Food Services Assistant, you’ll be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated team helping to create a welcoming, professional and supportive care experience for the residents of our Maroochydore facility.

  • Ability work on a permanent part time or casual basis
  • Previous experience in a similar role assisting in the preparation and serving of meals
  • Assisting with food service duties including setting tables, cleaning dishes and cleaning
  • Genuine and professional customer service skills, team player and well presented
  • Commercial cookery qualifications desirable
  • An ability to provide a catering and kitchen service that is consistent with the mission and philosophy of our organisation
  • High level of customer service skills
  • Ability to work on a permanent part time or casual basis
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Ensure compliance with food safety hygiene standards
  • Understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities
  • National Police Certificate
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check may be a requirement of this role.
