Job Description Summary:

The position collaborates with nurses and other hospital personnel in the process of providing coordinated quality home medical equipment. Provides courteous customer service in the profitable operation of the Retail Shop for patients, visitors, and employees.

Responsibilities And Duties:

Provide assistance to customers in selecting purchases, records sales on cash register, collects payments, makes change and bags utilizing customer service standards thereby adding to the profitability of the gift shop.

Cleans assigned areas of the gift shop Maintaining the quality of the merchandise and the attractive appearance of the gift shop.

Consult nurses to discuss/recommend medical equipment for home use, input, verify and qualify patient for appropriate medical equipment and instructs patient on proper and safe use of equipment. Provides bra fittings.

Stocks and displays shelves with merchandise placing price tags on merchandise as required to provide customers with a variety and selection of merchandise thereby adding to customer satisfaction.

Open and closed cash register, verifies cash amount at RMH cashier's, sets up cash till and deposits cash bank. ** COMPLETION OF WITH PERCENT

Minimum Qualifications:

High School or GED (Required)

Additional Job Description:

Home medical equipment. Must be able to count money, make change and do basic math. Bra fittings. Compression hose fittings. Assessments for proper fittings for bras and compression hose. One year cash register Experience in a retail establishment desired. One year of Experience with customer service
