Job Description

As an Enterprise Transformation Data Lead at Rockwell, you will play a crucial role in enabling our digital transformation to the Salesforce ecosystem through data enablement. As part of our Demand to Renew (D2R) program, we will be implementing Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud. You and the team you lead will play a vital role in data strategy, analysis, mapping, engineering, cleansing, and quality for our transformation. Additionally, you'll partner with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless execution of data-related aspects in our CRM transformation.

You will not have direct reports, but will lead a team within the Program that consists of consultants and Rockwell Automation experts.

You will report to Director Commercial Innovation and Design and will work from one of our offices based in Milwaukee, Mequon or Mayfield Heights.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Migration Strategy and API Integration:

• Implement data migration strategies that align with project objectives, milestones and ensure minimal disruption to operations.
• Utilize data migration tools, methodologies, and APIs to facilitate smooth data transitions, including extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Follow and drive Rockwell standards and prevent technical debt.

Data Analysis and Mapping:

• Analyze existing data structures and requirements to create comprehensive data mapping documentation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into actionable data mapping strategies, including API integration for data extraction and transformation.
• Work with Data Architect and Data Product Owners to leverage currently available infrastructure or create new models for the future.

Data Cleansing and Quality Assurance:

• Develop and execute data cleansing processes to improve data quality and integrity within Salesforce.
• Establish data quality standards and conduct ongoing data quality checks, addressing issues promptly with Data Stewards and/or Business subject matter experts.
• Represent relevant Data needs during program testing

Data Security and Compliance:

• Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and standards, implementing data access controls and encryption as needed.
• Collaborate with security and compliance teams to address data-related concerns.

Team Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, data engineering, and business units, to align data initiatives with organizational goals and support data-driven decision-making.
• Lead regular status discussions to ensure on-track execution. Represent Data efforts in weekly Program Reviews.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

The Preferred - You may also Have:

• Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience, in data management, digital or enterprise transformation programs.
• Salesforce.com and/or CRM application knowledge.
• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Data Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proficiency in data management tools and technologies, including data analysis and mapping, data migration, and API integration.
• Certification in data management, Salesforce.com, or related fields.
• Experience in the industrial automation or manufacturing sector is a plus.
