Senior Risk Analyst

You will be responsible for conducting risk and control assessments, control testing, managing risk events, operational losses and developing key risk indicators.

Role Responsibilities

  • Monitors Operational Risk.
  • Analyzes the direction and sufficiency of internal controls and performs periodic control tests.
  • Conducts root cause analysis of incidents and losses captured in the database for Operational risk.
  • Conducts risk assessments of new or changing products, with proposals for appropriate controls to support successful deployment.
  • Prepares materials for the Risk Committee and management reports.

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience in a Finance or Business-related subject.
  • 3-5 years of risk or related experience in a financial Institution.
  • Excellent knowledge of banking regulations.
  • Advanced knowledge in Excel
  • Proactivity and Organization
  • Excellent communications skills (verbal/written).
  • Data Analytics skills (SQL, PHYTON).
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, influencing, prioritization, and decision-making skills, together with the ability to interact and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to work individually, or collaborate with others in a global, fast-paced environment, dealing with ambiguity, making quick decisions, and managing tight timelines.
  • Intermediate to advanced English is required.
