R&D NA – Mechatronics / Software Engineering Intern (Summer)

Location: Marietta, GA
Team: Research & Development (R&D NA)
Duration: Summer Internship (Full‑time)

About the Role

Join our R&D North America team as a Mechatronics or Software Engineering Intern and contribute to the development, testing, and improvement of automation technologies used across global logistics systems. You’ll work with experienced engineers on real product and tooling initiatives, gaining hands‑on exposure to electromechanical systems and industrial software.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with the development of control algorithms for new automation equipment
• Participate in testing, validation, and debugging of electromechanical systems
• Document design decisions, code updates, test results, or engineering guidelines

 

What We’re Looking For

Education:
Currently pursuing a degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Coursework or hands‑on experience with software development
• Exposure to automation, controls or industrial equipment
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
