JR66564 PDE TD EPM Senior EngineerAs a Technology Development (TD) Engineering Program Management (EPM) Engineer in the Package Development and Engineering (PDE) team, you will lead and drive Micron’s Packaging Technology Development Projects.
Drive Silicon Technology Package Integration Program and associated development projects and support NPIs to ensure roadmap items meet “go to market” timelines.
Integrate program-level tasks & deliverables.
Stitch all project outcomes & dependencies to meet program timelines.
Develop the program timelines (TN Milestones, CPI Timelines, pre-Alpha Test Chip Development, Alpha Chip Development, NPI, and SSDMOD together with the STPI Core Team.
Ensure deliverables and artifacts from each development project are completed and detailed in strict accordance with program requirements.
Ensure business processes are followed.
Quickly resolve the issues & roadblocks to the project/program to prevent schedule delays and/or bring up to the program lead for immediate resolution.
Conduct the STPI Weekly Meetings, STPI Review Meetings, and other STPI-related forums.
Drive and Track the projects, communicating program health/ status periodically to keep the program on track.
Work towards organized project documentation, centralizing development data, and ensuring the completion of project artifacts.
Develop templates for data collection by area/log point SMEs.
Manage the TD Confluence Space as TD project management and communication tool.
Define, develop, and continuously improve the TD business processes & systems.
Maintain Communication and Peer Relation
Improve global alignment whenever possible. Look for chances to boost efficiency and raise benchmark performance through collaborative problem-solving, improving the BKM, global project management, and system development.
Maintain a strong and open relationship with peer groups and managers in other functional areas within and outside PDE. Communicate and respond to issues on time.
Demonstrate problem-solving capability and conduct meetings to facilitate/drive project completion, improve business processes, and resolve tactical problems. Send effective action item lists, updates, or results of the meetings.
Demonstrate capability to give effective presentations to both small and large groups on program and project updates and new initiative proposals. Communicate issues that impact Backend on time and help aim to fix the issue where vital.
Periodically follow up with the manager to ensure all types of goals are met and get assistance to remove obstacles. Use all available resources to handle the successful completion of goals, including resources outside of the area.
Be prepared to give feedback and discuss action items during regular one-on-one meetings with your supervisor.
Develop relationships (external) to achieve new ideas and procedures to keep pace with Industry standards and methods.
Can travel to Micron BE locations as necessary for face-to-face work.
Safety
Be involved in process safety management systems development and sustainment, such as Micron’s “Good Catch” program. Actively participate in safety initiatives to achieve zero major event occurrences across the Micron manufacturing network.
Take a proactive approach to safety and apply corporate and site safety resources for any concerns and issues as appropriate.
JOB REQUIREMENT
Bachelor’s or master's degrees in Materials, Mechanical, Chemical, or electrical/electronic engineering.
5+ years of experience in Semiconductor Frontend/Backend Manufacturing, preferably in Project/Process Integration, Project/Program Management, Technology Development, or Process Engineering role.
Demonstrated track record in baseline performance improvement, project management, business process creation, and data interpretation skills.
Excels in leading teams in a global manufacturing network involving team members of various fields and cultures.
Proficient in essential computer applications such as Excel, Word, Statistical tools, Confluence, Teamcenter, Power BI, and Power Apps.
