Reporting to the Senior Director, you will be part of a global and diverse team with coverage for enterprise-wide Applications audits. The S&P Global Internal Audit function is a global team with auditors located in the U.S., London, India, Tokyo, & Taiwan. The Divisional Technology Audit team plays a vital role in the global audit function by focusing on S&P Global Technologies (IT Applications and Information Security).

The Impact:

This role will be part of the Divisional IT Audit team, providing support in the execution of Technology audits globally. This position will help you gain insights into the internal technology environment and develop foundational skills in a trusted advisory capacity.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the execution of application security audits, supporting the approved Audit Plan.
  • Develop your IT Security skills by participating in both applications and infrastructure audits.
  • Support the audit process by gathering information and documenting findings.
  • Collaborate with audit team members to discuss audit findings and assist in developing action plans.
  • Learn and utilize data analytics and Automation knowledge to enhance the efficiency of audit execution.
  • Keep updated on emerging security threats and trends to support internal audit processes.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 0-2 year of experience in technology audits or related fields, internships or academic projects included.
  • Basic understanding of security concepts and practices in IT environment.
  • Familiarity with tools used for security testing (e.g., Burp Suite, NMAP) is a plus.
  • Exposure to programming languages (e.g., Python), tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI and an interest in AI technologies are advantageous.
  • Strong analytical skills, and good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, Engineering, Accounting or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Pursuing or holding certifications such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) is a plus.
