Position Summary
The Senior Systems Design Consultant (SDC) works as part of the IT team responsible for the configuration and administration tasks associated with telephone systems built with Cisco IP Telephony technology. The SDC will consult with dealership personnel to determine all appropriate application and configuration settings and load those settings according to CDK pre-defined standards. This position does not carry any direct reports.

Cisco Unified Contact Center eXpress (UCCX) configuration
Cisco WebEx Calling configuration
CDK Call Pops, Call Recording and Call Intelligence configuration
Cisco Automated Attendant configuration
Produce comprehensive system documentation for support use
Provide comprehensive end-user training
Qualifications
Minimum of 7 years experience in the telephony field as an installer or support engineer is preferred.
Experience with Cisco IP Telephony systems such as CUCM and Cisco WebEx Calling a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills are required, as is a highly charismatic personality and a strong customer focus.
Experience with Microsoft Word, Visio and Excel is essential.
7 - 10 years experience in the telephony field, with focus on the Cisco Unified Communications Manager Platform .
Working knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, Routing Protocols, VPNs, Routers, Switches).
QoS implementation.
Thorough understanding of dial planning, call flows, hunt groups, and voice messaging Experience working with various telco providers.
Expert knowledge of Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Unity Connection, and UCCX applications.
Knowledge and experience designing and configuring Cisco WebEx Calling phone systems.
Familiar with common training processes and practices.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio
General Skills:
The associate must have excellent communications skills. They must be able to talk intelligibly with senior technical and business staff as well as manufacturers and telco vendors.
They must be capable of dealing with associates within the CDK Global organization at all levels.

Ability to be self-directed, highly motivated, and be able to set priorities with minimal supervision.

Must be able to present technical solutions to customers and business partners.
Ability to express technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Possess leadership abilities and be able to work as a team leader or team member.
Ability to effectively handle critical client support situations and work with the Sr. Technical resources at CDK Global and our vendors to troubleshoot the most difficult technical problems.
Demonstrate time management and completion of tasks to a definite deadline.
Preferred Qualifications
A degree in a technical discipline, preferably Computer Science is preferred, but is not mandatory. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
CCNA Voice / CCNP Voice / CCVP or MCSE Certification is desired.
Cisco IP Telephony Certification is desired.

Salary Range:$76,000 - 100,000
