The Impact You’ll Have:

As a Financial Risk Credit Modeler, you'll help an enterprise client make smarter, data driven lending decisions by developing and enhancing credit risk models that support its global financial services business. You'll transform complex business challenges into quantitative solutions using advanced modeling techniques, artificial intelligence, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to improve risk assessment, forecasting, and portfolio performance. By designing, implementing, validating, and continuously refining predictive models, you'll deliver actionable insights that enable stakeholders to balance growth with risk while driving better business outcomes. Your analytical expertise, intellectual curiosity, and innovative problem solving will play a key role in advancing the organization's enterprise risk management strategy.

What you’ll do:

• Develop and validate credit risk models
• Enhance the usage of Artificial Intelligence / ML and transform into more efficient solutions.
• Using GCP, SAS, R, Python, for model building and model validation
• Continual enhancement of statistical techniques and their applications in solving business objectives
• Compile and analyze the results from modeling output and translate into actionable insights
• Prepare PowerPoint presentations and document preparation for the entire credit risk modeling process
• Collaborate, Support, Advise and Guide in development of the models
• Acquire and share deep knowledge of data utilized by the team and its business partners
• Participate in global conference calls and meetings as needed and manage multiple customer interfaces
• Execute analytics special studies and ad hoc analyses
• Evaluate new tools and technologies to improve analytical processes
• Set own priorities and timelines to accomplish projects (accountability for project deliverables)

What you’ll need:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in the banking or financial services industry, with a strong focus on Credit Analytics.
• Hands on experience developing, validating, and deploying credit risk models, including IFRS 9, Probability of Default (PD), Loss Given Default (LGD), Exposure at Default (EAD), credit risk scorecards, and credit loss forecasting.
• Strong understanding of the end to end credit lifecycle, credit and market risk measurement, and predictive modeling techniques used in risk management.
• Experience applying statistical and machine learning methodologies, including linear and logistic regression, ANOVA/ANCOVA, CHAID/CART, cluster analysis, and other advanced analytical techniques.
• Proven experience developing and implementing cloud based analytical solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or a similar cloud environment, with hands on experience applying Artificial Intelligence to solve business problems.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, SAS, R, and GCP, along with advanced Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of PowerPoint and Word.
• Master's degree in Finance, Financial Engineering, Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, communication, and data presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex analytical concepts into clear business insights.
• Collaborative team player with strong written and verbal communication skills and a proven ability to work effectively with cross functional stakeholders.

Future-Ready Skills (Nice to Have):

• Experience working within AI, analytics, or digital transformation organizations.
• Experience in retail banking, mortgage, lending, liability products, or broader financial analytics is preferred.
