Trouw Nutrition USA-Companion Animal business unit is focused on advancing nourishment of the world’s pets by providing premium pet food companies with the highest-quality custom ingredient blends supported by exceptional customer care and nutrition expertise. We are searching for a professional, motivated and dynamic member for our Companion Animal Nutrition team as a Financial Analyst in Highland, IL.
As a Finance Analyst, you'll be the driving force behind our data-driven decision-making process. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging your analytical expertise to uncover hidden insights and drive positive change.
This is a full-time position, located at our Highland, Illinois location (30 miles east of St. Louis, MO).
About The Role
Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis and Modeling
Perform in-depth analysis of financial statements, including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement.
Build complex financial models to evaluate business scenarios, assess risks, and project future performance.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Prepare accurate financial forecasts based on market trends, economic conditions, and business strategies.
Reporting and Communication:
Create comprehensive financial reports for senior management, including key performance indicators (KPIs) and insightful commentary.
Strategic Planning and Insights:
Provide strategic financial advice to leadership on investment decisions, new initiatives, and cost optimization strategies.
Develop and maintain KPI’s to drive accountability of key organizational priorities.
Skills and Expertise
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field. Experience within international organization and/or manufacturing organization will be considered an asset.
Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques. Experience in Power BI will be considered a strong asset.
Strong communication skills, able to distill complex information into clear insights.
Detail-oriented mindset with a proactive problem-solving approach.
Able to work locally to the Highland, IL area
