ATAK Software Developer

You Have:

• Experience in software development and all phases of the software development lifecycle

• Experience with Agile framework

• Experience developing, maintaining, and contributing to technical documentation

• Experience working with stakeholders and development teams

• Knowledge of Java, Python, or C++ development

• Ability to apply Agile best practices using industry standards

• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

• HS diploma or GED and 14+ years of experience with mobile software development, Associate’s degree and 12+ years of experience with mobile software development, Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience with mobile software development, or Master’s degree and 1+ years of experience with mobile software development

Nice If You Have: 

• Experience developing Android Tactical Assault Kit (ATAK) core or plugins

• Experience with Java, Go, C++, and Python

• Experience in Android Mobile Development

• Experience with Atlassian Software suite, including Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence, and Bamboo

• Experience with Android SDK, Microsoft Visual Studio, .NET SDK, OpenGL, FFMPEG, and Spatial Lite

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes

• Ability to work within a collaborative, geographically dispersed team in a fast-paced dynamic environment

• Possession of excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

• Secret clearance

• Certified SAFe® Practitioner or equivalent Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
