Lead high-impact analytics delivery and innovation

St Vincent’s Health Australia is building a modern, data-driven health system. As Data Analytics Delivery Lead, you will play a pivotal leadership role in delivering advanced analytics solutions and driving innovation across the organisation.

About the role

This is a hands-on leadership position, combining strategic oversight with technical delivery. You will lead analytics initiatives end-to-end while mentoring a team of specialists and ensuring the delivery of robust, high-quality, and impactful insights.

You will act as a key bridge between business needs and data solutions—ensuring analytics initiatives deliver measurable value.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of analytics solutions across complex business domains
• Translate business requirements into scalable and actionable data solutions
• Mentor and lead a team of analytics professionals (1–3 direct reports)
• Drive adoption of modern analytics practices, including AI-enabled approaches
• Champion data-driven decision-making across the organisation
• Partner closely with the Data Enablement Manager and senior stakeholders
• Ensure alignment with data governance and analytics strategy

Innovation focus

• Lead the integration of AI-driven tools and methodologies
• Support rapid prototyping and experimentation to refine solutions
• Enable high-quality insights that improve decision-making and performance

About you

• Experience leading analytics delivery in complex enterprise environments
• Strong technical capability across analytics, data modelling, and BI tools
• Proven ability to bridge business and technical stakeholders
• Leadership experience mentoring and developing analytics teams
• Experience with AI, advanced analytics, or emerging data technologies is highly desirable
