NetSuite Business Systems Analyst- R2R

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Netsuite Analyst collaborates with the accounting team to identify, prioritize and implement system improvements while also performing daily end-user support and administrative duties within our NetSuite financial system and other financial system including user administration, reporting writing, UI updates and system maintenance. This role will collaborate with various departments to gather requirements, implement process improvements, and ensure efficient integration of NetSuite with other systems. You will play a critical role in streamlining operations, enhancing financial workflows, and supporting the company’s overall objectives.  The focus of this role will be on the record to report process (R2R) process.

This is a techno-functional role.  The ideal candidate has a strong technical understanding of NetSuite and knows how to translate business needs into effective system configurations and enhancements. This is not an accounting role. It is a business systems position for someone who can work hands-on in NetSuite to improve automation, scalability, data quality, and operational effectiveness across the R2R cycle.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

NetSuite Administration & Configuration

• Design, configure, and maintain NetSuite functionality supporting R2R processes, including General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and cash-related modules.

• Develop, build, and maintain SuiteFlow workflows, approval processes and automations aligned to R2R business rules.

• Manage GL Entry approval workflows ensuring compliance with internal controls.

• Conduct regular system audits, data quality reviews, and performance tuning to ensure integrity and scalability of financial systems.

• Identify process gaps, bottlenecks, and compliance risks; design and implement scalable solutions.

• Back up Netsuite administrator

• Support month-end and year-end close activities.

Cash Management, Treasury & Banking Systems

• Configure and maintain NetSuite cash management and bank connectivity, including bank account structures and transaction processing workflows.

• Design and enhance automated bank feed integrations and reconciliation processes, ensuring auditability and scalability

• Develop and maintain system logic supporting cash application processes, including workflows, rules, and integrations with billing, AR and AP systems.

• Build and support NetSuite-based treasury and cash reporting, including dashboards, saved searches, and cash position reporting.

• Monitor and troubleshoot bank integrations and data feeds (e.g., JPM Chase), ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timely data flow.

Reporting, Analytics & Integrations

• Build and maintain saved searches, dashboards, and custom reports in NetSuite

• Own and support integrations between NetSuite and Floqast, Planful, Workday and Concur.

• Design, document, and maintain end-to-end data flows and integration logic, ensuring reliability and traceability.

• Monitor integration performance, identify failures or exceptions, and implement enhancements to improve automation and data quality.

• Document integration specifications and monitor data flows for errors or exceptions.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Projects

• Gather, document, and translate business requirements into system configurations and functional specifications.

• Lead UAT, change management, and training for system enhancements and new rollouts.

• Act as a key resource during internal and external audits related to R2R controls.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 2-5 years

• Demonstrated expertise with NetSuite R2R modules: General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Bank Reconciliation and Reporting

• Strong understanding of Record-to-Report processs.

• Proficiency in NetSuite SuiteFlow, saved searches, custom records, suite analytics and reporting.

• Experience managing or contributing to system integrations (Celigo, or Boomi preferred).

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a process-improvement mindset.

• Strong communication skills; ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• NetSuite Administrator or SuiteFoundation certification.

• Experience with Boomi and/or Celigo

• SuiteScript 1.0/2.x development experience.

• Prior experience in a high-growth technology or SaaS company.

• Experience supporting NetSuite OneWorld multi-subsidiary environments.
