Job Description

We are looking talent for our Interlomas´ General Offices for the position of:

Consumer Market Knowledge & Business Intelligence Manager

Managerial full-time position

Start date: as soon as possible.

Location: Huixquilucan, Paseo Interlomas

Work schedule: full-time with flexible working hours

Profile: Recently Graduated preferably but not limited to quantitative degrees like Engineering’s, Economics, Finance, Actuary or Maths. Between 1-3 years of experience (not mandatory)

In Consumer and Market Knowledge, we directly influence business strategy, product design, pricing, media investments and much more. We use our boundless curiosity to discover what consumers want, why they want it & how we can we influence them through immersive exploration, in-depth analysis and good research.

We answer questions like: What should our brands stand for? Who are our target shoppers and how do we best reach them? How can we invent exciting in-store & on-line shopper experiences?

Leads and improves analytical programs to present the results of the business unit/category/region leaders. Analyzes the variable granular data of the business and regularly uses advanced models to deliver business insights across diverse business domains. With a combination of analytical expertise, data and system knowledge, and business insight, answers and anticipates critical business questions and opportunities and delivers insights to the business in ways that make significant impacts. Demonstrates use of data visualization (Tableau, Power BI, Excel), and analytic tools (Python, R, SQL, KNIME/Alteryx) to grasp the business insights from mountains of data. Collaborates with multifunctional teams (Marketing, Finance, IT, Sales) to improve key business priorities based on data-driven insights.

Your role as Business Intelligence and Consumer Insights Manager:

  • Increased responsibility in scope of business and driving business insights/opportunities activation across a business while able to work independently.

  • Handle end to end solutions to a business issue. Work with business partners to identify business problems and opportunities, convert them into robust learning plans, interpret and analyse results, and persuasively communicate learning and their recommendations to the business team.

  • Development, supervision, and learning-sharing of projects in consumer and/or customer, shopper and market understanding.

  • Proactively ensure their business teams have superior consumer/customer/market understanding via sharing existing learning, identifying gaps and finding ways to fill these. 

  • They provide a point of view and actionable business building ideas based on their deep foundational understanding of the consumer, customer and market.

  • Strong understanding of Analytics, Human Insights, and Behavioral Sciences tools, capabilities techniques with ability to apply into the business needs.

  • Simplify/standardize existing systems and identify/implement ways to speed up results.

Job Qualifications

  • Eligible to work in Huixquilucan, Estado de México.

  • Recently Graduated preferably but not limited to quantitative degrees like Engineering’s, Economics, Finance, Actuary or Maths. Between 1-3 years of experience (not mandatory)

  • English Advanced - Mandatory

  • Strong analytical skills using multiple data sources.

  • Team orientation, “can-do “attitude and ability to deliver breakthrough results.

  • Creativity, innovation, initiative, follow-through, communication, and priority-setting.

  • Knowledge of Python, Power Bi, SQL, Knime (preferably but not mandatory)

  • Operate with technical excellence while collaborating effectively with others
